Meet Kate
Hiya! I'm Kate. I'm a SAG-AFTRA actor, voiceover artist, and print model, and -- fun fact -- I love doing things that scare me. Like bungee-jumping off the Victoria Falls bridge in Zambia (twice!), rappelling down 50-foot waterfalls in Maui, and biking 100 miles through the mountains of Colorado. Oh, and acting.
Wait -- what?!
See, for me, acting is not about "putting on" or "pretending" -- it's about stripping away artifice and telling the truth. And as far as I'm concerned, there are few things more terrifying or more thrilling than that (although the bungee jumps come pretty close).
I grew up in New England, but had had enough of the wilting humidity, so made my way to Colorado. I spent fifteen years in Denver, where I acted for more than a decade in commercials and films and with some of Colorado's most acclaimed professional theatre companies. And I loved it. But I couldn't resist the call of my roots (or my family -- hi Ma!) and eventually moved back.
Since coming home, I've honed my craft in classes at the acclaimed Barrow Group and Kimball Studios, with award-winning coach Matt Newton, and in a year-long foundational training intensive in the Meisner technique. I've booked roles in commercials, award-winning independent films, and both streaming and premium cable television shows, including HULU's Castle Rock (recurring), Showtime's City on a Hill, HBO's Crashing, and Netflix's The Society.
I love being back on the East Coast (interminable Game of Thrones-like winters notwithstanding), and I would love to hear from you (no matter which coast you call home).

Oh my goodness. Soooo it’s been a minute since my last NOOZ update. But 2019 has been off to a roaring start. I booked and shot a co-star role on Showtime’s new drama City on a Hill, booked a zanily fun print shoot for a pharma product (no, really. I know it’s not typically true, but this time: pharma = phun), auditioned for a major role in a new limited series starring one of my favorite actors, and booked a holiday film in what will be (so far!) my biggest role to date. Can’t wait to share the details when I know more…!
Oh man, capping off the week with another great audition before heading into the NY Connection Showcase event at Actors Connection, where I get to play with 20 great actors looking to break into the NY market. So honored to be invited to participate in this event.
Back to Boston for more auditions — and a callback! Had I been this busy when I lived there, I’m not sure I’d have moved! So glad the MA industry is thriving. FILMS (and TV!) = JOBS
So. Many. Auditions! And class! And I’m on hold for another job! #GoodWeek
Aww yeah! #BookedIt I can now add Netflix to my resume. Can’t wait to share more about it when I can!
